Awful - Can this season get any worse?

Villa was squashed by Man City today 4-nil.  City's Balotelli got a hat trick and led City as they destroyed Villa.  What is going on?  All of a sudden, I have had a sense of fear develop inside of me as the bottom of the table looms.  How do we get out of this slump and get a couple of decent results?  It is scary eight now. I don't want to use the "R" word - so I won't.  I want to hold on to hope...for now.

Villa vs Man City on FSC

A reminder that Villa v. Man City will be televised in the U.S. tomorrow (Tuesday, 28 Dec 2010).  Kick-off is at 7:00 a.m. (pacific time) on Fox Soccer Channel.

Villa Falls to Spurs 2-1

Another fall/winer Sunday morning at Kezar Pub (out of the 30+ televisions, one was on FSC).  Surrounded by NFL fans, I cheered as hard as I could for the Villa, but it just wasn't enough.  Difference in the game?  Villa porous defense against the Spurs counter attack.  It was awful to see Spurs moving past 2 and 3 Villa defenders to get them in position  for Van De Vaart's 2 goals. Marc Albrighton scored for the Villa.
