The Villa held on to a narrow 1-nil lead to beat Newcastle yesterday. We were at the Mad Dog in the Fog (for some reason the Kezar wasn't open - still haven't figured that one out yet). James Collins knocked in the only goal of the game but it was enough. We were holding our breath - especially when that free kick got awarded just outside the penalty area. We need at least 3 more to make me comfortable. UTV!

But, excited about the 3 points.
Game after game, Agbonlahor has been totally neutralized by being played wide instead of the middle. He was last year's top goal scorer (and one of my favorite players to watch) and now he is a minimally effective role player.
I have a feeling he is going to tippy-tapped right off the team on loan next year.
Great to get 3 points and avenge the earlier blowout.
